Sasquatch Package: A New Level of Off-Road Capability

The big news for the 2025 model is the addition of the Sasquatch Package for the Outer Banks and Badlands trims. Previously only available on the full-sized Bronco, this package significantly boosts the Bronco Sport’s off-road abilities. For the first time, the Outer Banks trim will feature the Badlands’ twin-clutch rear-drive unit and a locking rear differential. Both trims will also come equipped with larger 29-inch Goodyear Territory All-Terrain tires, designed specifically for this package and inspired by the regular Bronco.

The Sasquatch Package isn’t just about bigger tires and enhanced traction. It also includes the new Rally GOAT mode, which optimizes gear shifting for more power on demand, sharpens throttle response, and improves steering feedback. The suspension has been upgraded as well, with Bilstein rear shocks, new springs that increase ride height, and additional suspension travel, making the 2025 Bronco Sport even more capable on challenging terrain.

Additional off-road features include a front brush guard, steel skid plates, modular front and rear bumpers with steel bash plates, and four recovery points. The front fenders now have integrated tie-downs rated to hold up to 150 pounds, making the Sasquatch Package an essential option for serious off-roaders.

Off-Road Features Across the Lineup

While the Sasquatch Package steals the spotlight, all 2025 Bronco Sport models receive noteworthy off-road enhancements. The new Off-Road GOAT mode is now standard, along with Trail One-Pedal Drive, which allows the driver to control the vehicle’s speed and braking with just the accelerator pedal. For those who prefer a more moderate off-road experience, the Big Bend trim offers the new Black Diamond Off-Road Package, which adds extra steel underbody protection and increases towing capacity to 2,200 pounds.

Ford’s 360-Degree Camera with Trail View is another new feature that comes standard across the lineup. This system automatically activates in Off-Road and Rally GOAT modes, providing a clear view of the terrain with width-accurate tire overlays to help navigate tricky paths. The Sasquatch Package offers an enhanced version of this system with Split View, showing the front tires using cameras mounted under the side-view mirrors.

Interior and Tech Upgrades

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Bronco Sport has received several tech upgrades to improve the driving experience. A new, larger 13.2-inch center infotainment touchscreen now comes standard, running on Ford’s SYNC 4 system. This system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as over-the-air update capability, ensuring the Bronco Sport stays up-to-date with the latest features. The dashboard also includes the “Bring Your Own Device” tray, equipped with two USB-C ports for added convenience.

The digital instrument cluster has been upgraded to a 12.3-inch display, featuring animations inspired by the Bronco Raptor. Ford Co-Pilot360 Assist+ is now standard across all trims, while Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 is available on the Outer Banks trim and standard on the Badlands model.

Subtle Exterior Enhancements

The 2025 Bronco Sport also sports some exterior updates that enhance its rugged look. These include the addition of “Bronco Bolts,” which provide modular, accessory-ready points on the front and rear bumpers. Inside, you’ll find more Bronco Bolts, a new passenger grab handle on the center console, and auxiliary switches for those who opt for the Sasquatch Package.

Availability and Pricing

The 2025 Ford Bronco Sport models, including the Big Bend, Outer Banks, and Badlands, are expected to arrive at dealerships in November 2024. However, the Sasquatch Package won’t be available until the first quarter of 2025. Pricing details are still under wraps but will be announced closer to the launch dates.

With these updates, the 2025 Ford Bronco Sport continues to deliver on its promise of adventure, combining enhanced off-road capabilities with modern tech features.
